Depositing Funds Using Citadel

To deposit funds to your ECash Direct account simply follow these steps:

1. Click the CASHIER button
2. Click DEPOSIT
3. Select CITADEL as the desired deposit method
4. Click DEPOSIT NOW
5. Enter the amount you wish to deposit. (If you do not have a Citadel account, you will still proceed to step 6 where you will be prompted to provide your information to Citadel. When you have completed the online authentication process, you will be able to write an e-cheque on your account. No waiting 2-3 business days to verify your bank account information.)
6. Click PROCEED
7. Following on line authentication of your personal information by Citadel, your funds will be credited to your ECash Direct account for immediate use.

Deposit Limits

ECash Direct permits one Citadel account per ECash Direct account. The Citadel account that was used to make the first deposit to your ECash Direct account must be used for all future deposits and withdrawals.

Deposits are restricted with (1) a minimum deposit amount per transaction and (2) a maximum amount of uncleared Citadel funds in your ECash Direct account at any given time. Funds deposited to your ECash Direct account are credited immediately. However, Citadel funds must be cleared before they can be transferred or withdrawn from your ECash Direct account.

Transaction Reporting

It is important to keep a record of all your Citadel deposits and withdrawals. Citadel deposit transactions are displayed on your ECash Direct statement as CTD. Citadel withdrawal transactions are displayed as CTW.

Withdrawal

The Citadel account that was used to make the first deposit to your ECash Direct account must be used for all future deposits and withdrawals.
